Bath Bombs and Bathing Balls
with Susan Spencer

I've come to the definite opinion that one of the best places in the world to relax is in your bathtub. You can hide away and ignore the rest of the world, and shortly thereafter even the telephone's urgent ringing doesn't seem so important any more. It's a place of solitude and reflection -- a haven from the stresses of life.

What better to help with your soaking therapy than a selection of delicious bath bombs that you've created yourself and have tailored to your own specifications and taste? In this workshop, you'll learn the basics of making a fizzing bath bomb, and you'll get to try out several different scents and preparations and actually make a few to take home with you to your tub. You'll also go away with several other recipes to try at home. And we'll round out our day by making an Elizabethan bath ball -- a rounded soap ball delicately scented with traditional rose or lavender -- as an extra treat for your skin and your psyche. Delicious!
